To prepare students for the second coming of Christ by instilling in each a love for God, for learning, for life, and for service. This is our mission.

WWVA Library

The Walla Walla Valley Academy library is a place for learning, reading, and research. We are home to over 8,000 volumes, including a variety of nonfiction in all subject areas, Christian and secular fiction, a large reference section, and a strong collection of biographies. Our periodical collection, with almost 80 magazines, is a source of pride. We also subscribe to two electronic resources: Proquest ELibrary, a database of articles from over 2,000 journals and news sources; and the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) Online. Both of these electronic subscriptions can be found under educational resources.

About the Website

The goal of this site is to provide students, parents, faculty, and interested community members a portal for discovering what the library has to offer. Parents might be interested to find pictures of the library under About the Library, a link to the collection development policy, and the form for requesting the removal of questionable materials. We also have a link to the library's blog where news and new books are posted. For students, this site offers the all-important page, Educational Resources, which will guide them in their research and internet searching. The Tutorial & Help page will give students instruction in searching techniques and using the catalog and databases.
